~ Sophie Boyce 
 not so blatant as a
   ballerina
           flippering
   cool slight arms
            mystery of a thousand
spider silks festival
              drawn     soundless
   against cult of spotlight
        not so mutant beauty
         sulking softly to herself
Peter Cole Friedman is a poet and artist based in New York City.
